Who We Are

The Spartacus Foundation was born from love, loss, and a deep commitment to animal welfare. We are more than just a charity — we are a community of individuals, partners, and organizations united by the memory of a beloved dog named Spartacus, or Sparty, whose spirit continues to inspire our work every day

Spartacus was a vibrant Siberian Husky with two strikingly different eyes — one brown and one blue. With his playful personality, infectious joy, and boundless energy, he made a lasting impression on everyone who met him. At twelve years old, Sparty’s sudden passing due to Hemangiosarcoma left a deep hole in the hearts of those who loved him. In his memory, we founded the Spartacus Foundation with one mission: to ensure that every animal, like Sparty, receives the care, comfort, and compassion they deserve.

Our Mission & Vision

We began with a simple belief: every animal deserves care, comfort, and compassion, especially in their most vulnerable moments. Too often, animals are left behind when they need help the most. We exist to stand beside them when that happens.

Our work is rooted in partnership — with shelters, veterinary teams, and animal welfare organizations who share the same heart. Together, we provide emergency care, rehabilitation, and a path forward for animals who would otherwise be forgotten. Each rescue is more than an act of service; it’s a promise that their life still matters.
